Королевский монетный двор Нидерландов в октябре 2014 году вновь выпустит золотые дукаты: обычный и двойной (дукаты 2011 года). Но заявки на их покупку Королевский монетный двор Нидерландов принимал лишь до 15 августа. Именно на их количество будут ориентироваться сотрудники монетного двора при формировании окончательного тиража золотых монет.

Дизайн монет одинаковый. Одно различие: у обычного дуката на аверсе есть только один бусовый обод, а у двойного дуката два обода.

На аверсе традиционно изображен воин с мечом в правой руке и пучком из пяти стрел – в левой. В центре указан год чеканки монет, а также знак монетного двора. По краю имеется надпись «CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT». Это первая немного видоизмененная часть известного афоризма древнеримского историка Гая Саллюстия Криспа «Concordia parvae res crescunt, discordia maximae dilabuntur» (Согласием малые государства укрепляются, от разногласия величайшие распадаются»).

Реверс в центре несет надпись «MO. AUR. REG. BELGII AD LEGEM IMPERII» (Золотая монета Королевства Нидерландов. Согласно закону империи), окруженная барочным орнаментом.

Обычный дукат из золота 983-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 3,494 г, диаметр 21 мм. Тираж – 1500 шт. Цена — 199,95 евро.
Двойной дукат из золота 983-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 6,988 г, диаметр 26 мм. Тираж – 1000 шт. Цена — 349,95 евро.

The Royal Dutch Mint have announced the launch of the popular Dutch gold Ducats. Both the one and two Ducat sizes with the year “2014” will be available from October. For the first time, the Royal Dutch Mint have added that the final mintage will be determined by the pre-ordering or reservations received by interested collectors before the 15^th August, thereafter, that will be the number of each one and two ducat pieces produced. However, the Royal Dutch Mint have also added that a maximum mintage for each coin has been set which will not be exceeded.

Dutch Ducat coins have a very long history, which spans more than four centuries with the striking of both silver and gold ducat coins in 1586 during the Dutch Republic. The coins were sought after and quickly gained a reputation of accuracy both in fineness and weights in an era when many coins were often under-weight or debased in some way. That tradition continued from the Dutch Republic into the modern era when the Kingdom of the Netherlands was proclaimed in 1815.

The obverse design for both coins is inspired & reproduced from later strikes which were issued from 1817 and depict a standing knight facing to the right with a sword in right hand and holding a cluster of five arrows in his left hand. The legend in Latin reads “PARVAE CRESCUNT CONCORDIA RES” (In Harmony Small Things Grow). The two ducat strike includes a second circlet of dots towards the center. The year of issue “2014” is portioned in two digits and appears on either side of the knight along with the two current Royal Dutch mintmarks on both one and two ducat coins.

The reverse design for both versions is identical and includes a square shape surrounded with baroque vignettes on all sides along with the text “MO. AUR. REG. BELGII AD IMPERII” (Gold Money of the Kingdom of the Belgae According to Imperial Law). The inscription Refers to the Low Countries as Belgica Foederata or the “Federated Netherlands” and Belgica Regia, or the “Royal Netherlands”.

Банк России 5 сентября 2014 года выпустил четыре памятные монеты из драгоценных металлов.

Аверсы традиционные: рельефное изображение эмблемы Банка России — двуглавого орла с опущенными крыльями, под ним надпись полукругом «БАНК РОССИИ», а также по окружности имеются надписи, разделенные точками: номинал монеты и год чеканки «2014 г.», между ними проставлены обозначение металла по Периодической системе элементов Д.И. Менделеева, проба сплава, товарный знак Санкт-Петербургского монетного двора и масса драгоценного металла в чистоте.

Монета «Исаакиевский собор (Огюст Монферран)» серии «Архитектурные шедевры России»

Реверс несет изображение портрета архитектора Огюста Монферрана и ниже выполненное в цвете изображение капители, справа — рельефное изображение Исаакиевского собора в г. Санкт-Петербурге на фоне панорамы города, под портретом имеется надпись в две строки «ОГЮСТ МОНФЕРРАН».

Монета 25 рублей из серебра 925-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 155,5 г, диаметр 60 мм. Тираж — 1 500 шт.

Монеты серии «200-летие со дня рождения М.Ю. Лермонтова»

Реверс монеты 3 рубля — на фоне эпизода боя рельефные изображения: справа — портрета М.Ю. Лермонтова, слева — двух солдат русской армии, вверху имеются: факсимиле подписи поэта и даты в две строки «1814», «1841»;

Монета 25 рублей — на фоне фрагмента рукописи и гор рельефные изображения портрета М.Ю. Лермонтова и сюжетных композиций из его произведений, имеются: вверху — факсимиле подписи поэта, внизу — даты в две строки «1814», «1841»;

На золотой монеты 50 рублей — рельефное изображение портрета М.Ю. Лермонтова и слева парусной лодки, вверху имеются: факсимиле подписи поэта и даты в две строки «1814», «1841».

Монета 3 рубля из серебра 925-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 31,1 г, диаметр 39 мм. Тираж — 3000 шт.
Монета 25 рублей из серебра 925-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 155,5 г, диаметр 60 мм. Тираж — 1000 шт.
Монета 50 рублей из золота 999-й пробы (proof), имеет вес 7,78 г, диаметр 22,6 мм. Тираж — 1500 шт.

On September 5, 2014 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative four coins of рrecious metals.

The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coins and the year of issue «2014», between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Saint Petersburg mint and fine precious metal content.

Coin «St. Isaac’s Cathedral (Auguste Montferrand)» of the series «Architectural Masterpieces of Russia»

The reverse side of the coin has a matt field on the left which bears images of a portrait of an architect Auguste Montferrand and a capital below performed in colour. To the right of them there is a relief image of St. Isaac’s cathedral in Saint Petersburg against the background of a panoramic view of the city. There is an inscription in two lines under the portrait — «ОГЮСТ МОНФЕРРАН» (AUGUSTE MONTFERRAND).

Silver proof coins of the series «Bicentenary of M.Y. Lermontov’s Birth»

The reverse side:

• of the silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles depicts relief images of a portrait of M.Y. Lermontov on the right and two soldiers of the Russian army on the left against the background of an episode of a battle, a facsimile of the poet’s signature and dates «1814», «1841» in two lines on top;
• of the silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles bears relief images of a portrait of M.Y. Lermontov and subject compositions from his works against the background of a part of a manuscript and mountains, a facsimile of the poet’s signature on top and dates «1814», «1841» in two lines at the bottom;
• of the gold proof coin depicts relief images of a portrait of M.Y. Lermontov and a sailing boat to the left of it, a facsimile of the poet’s signature and dates «1814», «1841» in two lines on top.
